(SIL) & Independent Living Options (ILO)

At Hunter Valley Supports, we offer both Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Independent Living Options (ILO) services, designed to help NDIS participants live more independently while receiving the right level of day‑to‑day support. As a registered NDIS provider, we are committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care in safe, supportive, and home‑like environments.

Our SIL and ILO supports are available across the Hunter and Upper Hunter regions and are tailored to suit a wide range of needs, goals, and lifestyles. Whether you’re seeking shared accommodation, a more flexible living arrangement, or support to live independently in your own home, our team works closely with you to design a living option that promotes choice, control, independence, and community connection.

For SIL, our homes are supported by qualified support workers available 24/7 to assist with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, household routines, and community access. We focus on building life skills, confidence, and consistent routines while ensuring each participant feels safe, respected, and truly at home.

Through our ILO services, we support participants to create individualised living arrangements that suit how and where they want to live. This may include living alone, with friends, with a host, or with flexible drop‑in and scheduled supports. ILO is designed to maximise independence while still providing the supports needed to live safely and confidently.
